She visits Kenya on a regular basis as inspiration and sourcing expeditions. This winter she visited one of her suppliers with direct links to the mine where this cabouchon ruby was discovered and cut. This deep pink ruby is set simply in an 18k yellow gold rub-over setting with an open back to allow as much light play as possible. Poised on one of Disa’s signature organic texture bands this ring is all about show casing this unique stone in all its glory. Beautifully cut to reflect and refract light, Disa has framed it in a tapered 18k yellow gold rubover setting.
